Affordable Hotels in New York City? My family and I are staying in NYC in a few months for about four nights.. We’ve 2 adults and one child, and are looking for affordable hotels walking distance around the city. Our budget is 250 dollars a night or less, if that's even possible. Go to Priceline.com on line. They’ll find you something that fits your needs within reasonable distance of Midtown. The price will be approximately what you’re setting but don't expect Waldorf Astoria for that amount. It’ll meet health standards though and nothing in the room will leave with you in your suitcase or your hair.
